Villa Aterium is built around a single spatial idea: a full-height internal atrium that acts as the lungs of the house.
This central void, clad in grey granite and lit from a generous rooflight, draws natural light through the entire building section -- animating every level with shifting patterns throughout the day. The exterior massing is deliberately restrained and monolithic, a contrast that makes the luminous drama of the interior all the more powerful on arrival.
